Thank you to everyone who joined us to mark four decades of dedicated advocacy for housing and homelessness solutions in Edmonton. The Edmonton Coalition on Housing and Homelessness (ECOHH) is a volunteer-run non-profit founded in 1986, working to raise awareness, educate for action, and advocate for change.

MC Teresa Bradley spoke to the legacy of one of ECOHH's founders, Lynn Hannley, who passed in 2025, and managed a range of speakers, from politicians to people with lived experience of homelessness. Speakers included Jim Gurnett, MLA Janis Irwin (who presented ECOHH with a plaque of appreciation), Susan McGee, CEO of Homeward Trust, former mayor Amarjeet Sohi, Leanne (who shared with us her lived experience of homelessness), and Mayor Andrew Knack.
