City of Edmonton Budget 2022

This week Budget hearings saw the City of Edmonton Mayor and council sit in chambers hearing plea after plea for funding to keep many fundamental programming alive as well as continue funding initiatives to help its citizens acquire a better quality of life like affordable housing.

The precedent 3 days was long, and many organizations never got heard.

ECOHH has sent 2 submissions to be considered in support of many other agencies and the very initiatives it advocates for.

If you wish to learn more about ECOHH check out other blogs or read up on the values and mission. We are a group of volunteers from organizations, agencies, community leaders and members and individual advocates that come together to share like minded ideas, solutions, and response to the many issues plaguing the vulnerable in Edmonton. Everyone deserves respect, food, a home and a community that cares.
