A message from ACORN Alberta:
WHAT: Housing Justice Campaign Planning Meeting
WHEN: Wednesday, June 4th at 7:00 PM
WHERE: Online – REGISTER HERE: https://bit.ly/WIN4TENANTS
THIS IS NOT JUST ANY OLD ACTION PLANNING MEETING! We are going to WIN 4 Tenants—it's just a matter of time.
Most provinces have a rent cap, and it works. Most provinces have leases that automatically roll over, giving tenants real housing security—something Alberta tenants do not have.
Implementing a rent cap and basic tenant protections will work for Alberta, and ACORN won't stop until we win!
A new report grades each province on progress with more and better housing. Alberta gets a D+
