As many of you know, Edmonton lost a valuable and caring member of our community in April of this year. Lynn Hannley was a founding member of ECOHH in 1986, provided resources and space through the Communitas Group for ECOHH's operations, and was a driving force behind the ongoing work of ECOHH as Chair of the Policy and Communications Committee.

It is not an exaggeration to say that without Lynn ECOHH would not exist in the form it's in today.

Given her seminal role, and her deep involvement through the last fourty years, it is nearly impossible to do justice to the many ways Lynn has had an impact on ECOHH and the affordable housing system. We hope to have more information to share with you as our archives project continues. For now, to get a sense of the scope of Lynn's life and work in the housing sector, please take a look at the following two items.

1) EDify magazine recently published a profile in her memory. You can access that article here.

2) A program was created for Lynn's memorial service in May of this year that contains tributes from people and organizations impacted by her life. You can access that program below.

Thank you for taking to the time to find out more about part of ECOHH's history.
