ECOHH needs your help to build awareness of the terrible reality of homelessness to Edmontonians.

On November 23, 1 pm, our Housing Day event will take place at the Alberta Legislature. You can access the poster to invite others to this event at www.ecohh.ca. We want to have hundreds of people gather to learn more about the real facts, not the misleading rhetoric we often hear from politicians. Please start today to share the invitation. If you want paper copies of the poster or leaflet-size ones and cannot print yourself, they are available at Communitas (200-12120-106 Avenue) during weekday office hours.

We need some help from you to present a successful event. If you can help with any of the tasks, please contact jimgurnett@yahoo.ca as soon as possible. Many hands make light work!

We need:

- people to be marshals at the event, helping direct people, keep things orderly

- people with first aid certification to be on hand

- people to staff a station where tarps and blankets will be donated at the end of the event

- people with vehicles to help with transportation of equipment to and from the site- at least one pick up truck is needed

- people to help with set up and take down of stage, etc.

- a person to make four poles with weights to use to display a large banner

- people willing to help as needed!!
